I firmly believe in the power of mind-body connection. In fact, I believe that every physical ailment is rooted in some emotional issue that went unnoticed and is now drawing your attention through your body. For instance, if I have knee pain, I intuitively know it is because I am being too rigid about an aspect of life and there is a need to “surrender to change”.
But how did I start?
Years ago, I chanced upon a crystal pendulum. Little did I know that I will connect with it so deeply. Soon after I picked it up, I realised that the seemingly ordinary pendulum was moving in specific patterns. Some Google search introduced me to the world of Chakra Healing. As I studied the subject more deeply, I realised that not only did it explain physical ailments, but also determine the root cause of any and all emotional issues one might be experiencing.
A branch of Reiki, Chakra healing involves clearing and balancing energy centers in our bodies. Picture these Chakras as revolving balls of light, located at different parts in the body. Each chakra governs a different set of organs as also aspects of life. A perfectly healthy body is one where all the seven major chakras are open and balanced, letting life energy flow freely through them. An imbalance or blockage in any of the Chakras manifests itself in the form of physical and emotional ailments. For instance, someone with migraines, eyesight issues or poor instinct most likely has a blocked Third Eye Chakra.
The seven chakras are shown below:
Let’s dive deeper into the seven major chakras, their characteristics, and easy tips on how you can heal imbalances, within limits.
The first three Chakras are most important for our well-being and should ideally be opened and aligned before work is done on the upper chakras.
Please note: It takes a professional healing session to decipher which of your Chakras are out of balance, and to fully open them and align with the others. While these are easy steps you can follow on your own, a bigger blockage in your Chakras will require a Chakra clearing done by a professional. A Chakra Healing session lasts about an hour and is done using a Reiki pendulum and healing crystals.
I have been doing Chakra Healing for 10+ years now and have helped innumerable people move past their blockages, connect with their higher selves, and find inner peace.
